Customizing Date and Time Settings

You reach the Date and Time Settings form by using the menu and going to "Settings->Date/Time Settings". Below you can find a description of all the options in this form.

Date Format
Here you specify the format of how dates should be displayed:
DMY: Day Month Year
MDY: Month Day Year
YDM: Year Day Month
DMY: Year Day Month

Date Separator
Here you specify what character should be used to separate the day, month and year.
This could for example be a forward slash (/), a dash (-) or just a space.

Time Separator
Here you specify what character should be used to separate the hour and minute.
This could for example be a colon (:) or a full stop (.).

24 hour clock
Here you can choose whether to use a 24 hour clock, or whether to use a 12 hour clock (am/pm).

Show year
Here you can choose whether to show the year in dates or not.

2 digit year
Here you can choose whether to show the year with 2 digits (07) or 4 digits (2007).

Month as number
Here you can choose whether to show the month as a number from 1-12 or whether to spell out the month (Jan-Dec).
